Terms of sale
Mise à jour : 30/06/2026
These Terms of Sale govern online sales and payments made via the Wassel platform (“Wassel”) — application and website —, a Moroccan matching platform for meal delivery, grocery runs, and courier and concierge services (“Major·Dome”). Confirming your order and your online payment constitutes full and irrevocable acceptance of these Terms. The Terms of Use are available separately.
1. Preamble
These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern all transactions concluded via the Wassel website and application. Any order placed and any online payment made implies the full, entire and irrevocable acceptance of these Terms by the customer. Wassel acts as a technical intermediary between customers, partner restaurants/merchants and independent couriers.
2. Purpose
These Terms define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of meals, products and services (delivery, groceries, Major·Dome courier) offered via the Wassel platform. Products are sold by partner restaurants/merchants; Wassel facilitates matching, payment and tracking.
3. Order
The customer signs in to Wassel, selects the items they wish to buy, enters their information (delivery address, contact details), accepts these Terms, and then confirms their order. For card payment, the customer is redirected to the secure payment platform of the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (CMI), where they enter their payment details and validate the transaction.
4. Prices
Prices of meals and products are set by the partner restaurants/merchants and shown inclusive of all taxes (TTC). Delivery fees are calculated according to distance and displayed BEFORE the order is confirmed. No hidden service fees are added for the customer. The total amount due is summarised before payment.
5. Payment methods
Payment is made either in cash on delivery, or online by bank card via the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (CMI / Chaabi Payment), which provides a fully secure payment service (3-D Secure protocol). When the transaction is accepted by the bank, the account is debited on the business day following confirmation. The customer warrants having sufficient funds at the time of validating the payment. The card conditions arising from agreements between the customer and their issuing bank apply.
6. Delivery
Delivery is provided by independent couriers within the areas covered by Wassel. The estimated time is indicated when placing the order and tracking is available in real time. The customer undertakes to provide an accurate address and to be reachable. In case of absence making delivery impossible, fees may remain due.
7. Cancellation and refund
An order may be cancelled free of charge as long as it has not been prepared or picked up. Beyond that point, fees may apply to cover the work engaged. In case of a non-compliant, missing or undelivered product due to the partner, a full or partial refund is issued to the original payment method (card) or via the customer's balance, after review of the dispute. Given the perishable nature of foodstuffs, the right of withdrawal does not apply to meals prepared once preparation has started.
8. Data confidentiality
The information requested from the customer at the time of online payment is necessary to process the transaction and is treated confidentially. Wassel never stores complete bank card data, which is handled by the CMI on its secure platform. The customer may access or rectify their personal data, in accordance with law 09-08 (Morocco), by writing to info@wassel.food. Full processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Proof of payment
The data recorded on the online payment platform of the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (CMI) on behalf of Wassel constitutes evidence of the transaction and of the online payment made by the customer.
10. Disputes and applicable law
Disputes concerning products fall under the restaurant/merchant, those concerning delivery under the courier; Wassel facilitates mediation. These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute and failing amicable resolution, only the competent Moroccan courts shall have jurisdiction. Wassel may update these Terms; the version in force is the one displayed on the website and the app. Contact: info@wassel.food.
