Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Wassel (“Wassel”) collects, why, and your rights. It complies with Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of personal data (CNDP).
1. Data we collect
Account (phone number, first name); delivery addresses and landmarks you enter; GPS location (only while the app is open, for delivery and tracking); order history; support messages; payment data processed by our approved payment provider (Wassel never stores your card number).
2. Why we use it
To fulfil and deliver your orders; to calculate distance-based fees; to connect you with the courier and the restaurant; to provide real-time tracking; for support, security and fraud prevention.
3. Location
Your position is used only while the app is in use, to pinpoint the address on the map, calculate the route and allow the courier to find you. You may decline location access and enter your address manually (with a landmark).
4. Sharing
Your data is shared only with: the courier and restaurant involved in your order (strictly what is needed: first name, address, landmark, note); the payment provider; our technical subcontractors (hosting). Never resold to advertising third parties.
5. Major·Dome — waiver
For the Major·Dome service (courier/concierge), your acceptance of the liability waiver is recorded and stored (date, version) as evidence, in accordance with this policy.
6. Retention
Data is kept for as long as needed for the service and our legal obligations (accounting, tax), then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, delete your data or withdraw your consent by writing to info@wassel.food. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNDP.
8. Security
We protect your data with technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, restricted access). No system being infallible, please report any anomaly.
