Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Wassel account (“Wassel”) and the associated personal data, in accordance with Google Play rules and Moroccan law 09-08 (CNDP).
1. How to request deletion
In the Wassel app: open “Profile” then “Delete my account” and confirm. You may also request deletion at any time by e-mail to info@wassel.food from the address or with the phone number associated with your account, indicating “Account deletion”. Free of charge, no justification required.
2. Data deleted
Upon deletion, we erase: account data (phone number, first name, e-mail address); your delivery addresses and landmarks; your preferences and consents; your support messages. Wassel never stores your bank card number (it is handled by our approved payment provider).
3. Data retained (legal obligations)
Certain data linked to paid orders (amount, date, invoice) is retained minimally for the period required by our accounting and tax obligations, then deleted or anonymised. It is no longer linked to an active account.
4. Timeline
Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is deleted within a maximum of 30 days from the request, excluding data subject to a legal retention obligation.
5. Partial deletion
You may also request the deletion of part of your data (for example a saved address) without deleting your account, by writing to info@wassel.food.
6. Contact
